I have already mentioned it previously in the Brexit thread, but I think just revoking article 50, as per the Lib Dem’s pledge, would be too damaging. Not that it matters, as they have zero chance of winning a General Election (FTPT being another compelling reason not to vote for them). I just think in the circumstances it should go back to the people.Because, after 3.5 years of this, I will never understand why people who seriously want to remain in the EU, will not vote for the only party that categorically states it will revoke article 50 and stay in the EU. I didn't in 2017 and still don't now. Ive had abuse for asking the question, but never had a proper answer. Corbyn detests the EU, yet remainers vote for him ?
As a caveat, I should add that I’m fully aware that others don’t share that view, and have no desire to go through the same tedious arguments all over again. Just giving my personal opinion in response to a specific question.
