Jo Swinson

He most certainly is that. And the most polarising.

Those with no experience, no money or no sense tend to think he's marvellous. The rest of the human race see him for the odious, two-faced, lying, spineless, opportunistic, principle-less, dangerous piece of detritus ever to soil British politics, that he is.

Two things, your categorisation of his supporters is insulting. And bloody hell you can apply all that to Johnson.

Look I get it that you think Corbyn is a danger to your pocket but really all those comments, it is a bit childish don't you think

I think you have to qualify what a "win" looks like from a LibDem perspective. They've been in the political wilderness ever since the pact with the Tories and it's donkeys years since they have a large number of MPs.

By taking the line Swinson is taking, she has a very real prospect of ending up (IMO) with 50, 60, 70 MPs - which would be a fantastic achievement for them. And she could very possibly end up being king maker to any future government, calling plenty of shots.

She's dead right to be playing it as she is, IMO.

You, as a Tory and now leaver, might see that as a win. But the couple of million that are either voting for them for the first time or gone back to them because of their remain stance might think differently!

Btw a not standing pact with Labour could well see them win MORE seats in the right situation. There are a lot of marginal con/ld seats.

Can not envisage Labour having a no standing pact with the Lib/Dem’s to try and ensure a coalition Government.

How odd that you think the Lib Dems should be helping Labour to win the election and that OF COURSE it is in their best interests to do so. That is SO surprising. It could not possibly be due to your political leanings, could it? Possibly?

It could be mutually beneficial. What about you voting for a party that needs a pact with Farage?

What makes her ‘vile’?

Just my opinion. Think she's a nasty piece of work who represents a party with "Democrats" in their title yet cant accept the result of a democratic vote. We all know her real reasons for her stance.
They would have been far better (lib dems) if they had accepted Brexit and then campaigned to rejoin say in 10 years time.
Cant see them doing much in the election.

We’ve been over why they are democrats previously.

So really what you’re telling me is you think someone is ‘vile’ because they have a differing political view than yourself.

What are the real reasons for her stance?

Nothing you’ve mentioned there really merits calling her “vile” or “a nasty piece of work” tbh.

There’s something about her I find very attractive.
She looks like Tommy Cooper.
