Jo

We have a reserve team and some very promising youth players if we need someone to "sit on the bench". Of course I want Jo to do well but on his merits, not on the fact he is willing to sit on the bench. Nimely, Ball, Guidetti, Caicedo (whereever he is), and others would sit on the bench and dare I say all of them would have been more effective yesterday. Hopefully Jo can get his act together and improve, as he was good pre-season.

Not good enough, bad first touch and no pace. His inclusion in these latest games has to be a shop window exercise. A shame bcause he now appears to be putting the effort in. Get rid.

I dont care what anybody else says "Jo is dog shit" and ady is not playing well either but you get the feeling Ady will come good with some decent wing play into him but honestly apart from an ok pre season Jo has never done anything to show me he is good enough for our squad. never mind the first 25. So Bobby get rid asap, IF you can

To let go of bellamy to keep players like this chump and ade,is a crime against football in itself, the man has no pace,no skill, cannot dribble past people, weaker than a new born baby even when he tries you can tell he is just not good enough.

He belongs in the holland or russian league where he can bully small players but here he is a liability like ade.

And Today's Punch Bag is "JO"

What a surprise - just rip into the lad. No matter that Timisoara put 10 men behind the ball - he should have been able to dribble around at least 5. Ignore the fact that in such circumstances all the other players struggled - hence man of the match being a centre half despite not having to defend much.
He wasn't great but nobody was last night - it was like a pre-season friendly and a practice match all in one - and given the oppositions tactics hardly the perfect showcase for players to impress.
In Jo's defence at least he attempted things (granted they didn't come off) - he looked like a player on trial who was trying too hard - he needs some backing - not just from the manager who appears to think he has something. Some of the comments and groaning directed at him last night was a bit unfair.

Like a dog with a balloon.

I thought he was alright to be honest. Some stuff didn't work, some stuff did work. Overall, probably had a better game than Adebayor, and gave the ball away much, much less than Silva....who apparently had a good game :-/

You have to wonder what some of the brianless idiots on here do when they are at the match. I remember when my dad taking me to the game as 3 year old and being bollocked for watching the pigeons. It appears that some folk on here particular those ratiing Crocky more highly than Jo are still with me back in the day at Platt Lane watching those pigeons flying from the main stand to the kippax and back.

Even the fact that Crocky 29 years old arse end of his career with a the majority of his career on the injury v a 22 year old still not quite the finished article doesn't ring any bells. Despite the fact that Tronaldo was utter dog shite until he hit 23/24 when he bulked out abit. Seriously those tub thumpers desperate to find a scapegoat need to realise the sh*t has all but gone once some mug takes Crocky off our hands.

I am actually surprised having been there last night i was of the opinion that Jo had a pretty shit game, but i take it back cause having just watched the extended highlights he was quite unlucky to be honest, and with a bit more luck could of had a hat trick and he played a few decent balls through, not a great performance by any means but the lad did ok actually
