He is still the best attacking fullback in the world. Walker hasn't got even 50% of attacking capacity like Cancelo has.

We have enough attacking players further up the pitch. We don’t need someone who’s a liability in defence

No hes not. He is the club captain, a sick note and isn't leaving.

I don't think it's impossible that he'd be up for leaving a mid table club with no European football to join us. Also think it's quite likely that they will be in a pretty precarious financial situation next summer and selling academy products is the most effective way of balancing the books. His injury record would concern me though.

Such a shame how it worked out. Such a brilliant player going forward when he was in song - KDB levels of creativity. Not sorry he's gone now, though. But if it hadn't been for his mindset he could have been great...
