In India, I have seen many people having tea without any milk at all. I personally hate that.

I remember how confused my 14 yo-self was when my English hosting family in the summer called me in the dining room for tea at 5.30 - 6 pm and I found dinner on the table. I heard that Brits often had a cup of tea at 5 pm so I just assumed that was what it was.
Also eating dinner so early took a bit of time to get used to.
