That and he's seriously rapid which negates the scousers from booting long balls over our high press for Mane and Salah.

Looks about right, he's a great attacking fullback, defensively... I hear he's improved at Juve (pretty low starting point). I'd love him here tbh, as he's as exciting a fullback as you'll see, he's probably the best direct dribbler at fullback, while also having a pretty wicked cross on him. He offers the opposite of Walker, while still offering pretty similar physicality. Not sure how teams would deal with us having a RB who is willing and able to breeze past people with the ball if you leave him one on one. He's shown real signs of a good partnership with Bernie down the right for Portugal as well, which is a plus.

Tbh though I'd be perfectly happy with Danilo just getting more time at RB as I think he's been pretty decent throughout and given a bit of an unfair go of it.
 


Don't particularly want Danilo to leave but he's barely been given a chance to prove himself even when Walker was in terrible form. If we can bring in a quality replacement who will give Walker more competition, possibly even become first choice, then I'm all for it.
 
I'd rather just keep Danilo and save £35/40m to be spent elsewhere, I think RB is sorted for at least another season.
 
Hope it's Danilo and Cancelo as our 2 RBs. ......And we never see Walker there again.

I genuinely appreciate Walker's defensive work but he sucks the life out of our forward movement. I'd imagine our total goals will climb even further if he's not involved.

I'd doubt that he'd be any good as a CB for us too due to his relatively poor passing and tendency to panic.

Hope as much as you like thats not happening, nor should it Walker is far better than Danilo, and I like Danilo.

As an out and out defender then Walker is better than Danilo but as a balance of Defence&Attack I think Danilo is far better. May even be decent defending if played more regularly.

Maybe keeping Walker is ok if he plays just the games where we don't really need to unlock a defence.
