Job Going At City - ''Trainee Memberships Executive''{merge}

What an insane proposal.

So they're targeting the massive market of University educated unemployed season ticket holders with experience in numerous applicable fields that would work for a trainee's wage?

Oh yeah, I'm sure they're inundated with suitable candidates.

We shouldn't sneer; at that wage they could almost pay off a year's tuition fees. If it wasn't for those pesky housing and living expenses.

I also voted for Lee. Seemed the most genuine. Also helps that he is a local, but most importantly he seemed the most likely to 'get it'.

would have thought they would have based their appointment on their ability to do the role well and put forward constructive proposals, rather than silly stunts to show "how a big a blue" people are.

Sadly it doesn't seem the case.

How naive. In their world of Marketing and PR, these peacock-like displays are far more important. What you do (ie mainly not a lot) is largely irrelevant.

Having watched the video as well he is the best of the 3 comfortably, with the southern one being the least impressive.

I can't have been the only one to cringe "ooh I was here for that one as well" - LOL!

Another vote for Lee....if the microphone was on a stand, I reckon he'd be the only one with arms outstretched bouncing up and down on the stage belting out Blue Moon. Clearly been watching Ronnie Rosenthal's shooting prowess on YouTube too much though.
