Can't be that shit mate. I had my own house, bought a brand new BMW 3 series outright and earning £500pw by the time i was 23 from it. Its not the most exciting of jobs, but we have a top craic in here, and sales is where the money is at. I don't go to work to enjoy myself, I go to earn money. and that is what I do.
It'll be similar to bg, but we're totally outbound. we're a broker working for a few major suppliers. Whats your point? Yes we can't earn a living without people co-operating over the phone, but you are in the minority of people that wouldn't co-operate. At the end of the day, we're offering a service to people. Trying to contact a major supplier for utilities in the uk to set up a supply is a right ball ache. People can have their opinion on telesales, but people don't realise that everybody can't be a brain surgeon. Not everybody has been to university. not everyone has a 120+ IQ. Some people have to do jobs that don't require a degree, and if they can earn a good living doing it then what is up with that? That is what telesales CAN provide. money. and if you're willing to work your arse off for it, then it will be good money.
Fucks me off when people give it the holier than thou attitude when it comes to telesales. Its not a bad job.
