- He wants 100K a week and a long contract as hes a free agent.
- Always injured even in his best years (and they are long gone)
- No form.
- Career threatening injury / never fully recovered.

Brilliant player at his peak I would have loved him at city. Not the same now, definately not worth the risk. Will be like Petrov plays brilliant a few games crap a few but in reality injured 90% of the time.

RSC has proven once again you dont buy sicknote players that spend 90% of their time on the treatment table.

Sorry its a big no from me ! If hes going to the rags great definatley dont want him at city.

I'd have Joe Cole over James Milner ANY DAY of the week... especially since Cole would be a free transfer and not a ridiculous waste of money like Milner would.... 30m give me a break... the guy is worth 15m at the most he is that average.

milner is 24 and is only getting better were as cole at 28 is getting more and more injurys and allthough a good player it makes more sense to go with milner.

im not arsed about cost's of the players im more interested in what they can offer on the pitch.

imho id have neither there are better players out there.

Different types of midfielder. I am not convinced Cole is the same player he was. And I don't think he'd come North if he has London opportunities.

Milner would be my No. 1 English target, and I'd try for Toure as well
