Joe Cole offers more on the pitch than Milner does. And stop exaggerating his injury problems.

Fact is Milner is average and nowhere near worth 30m... and yes I do care about the club throwing ridiculous money at average players because it makes us looks like idiots if we constantly vastly overpay for players like that.

That is open to debate. I'm curious as to why Chelsea are not giving him the contract he wants...

Cole has had a poor season off the back of a serious injury whilst Milner is the young player of the year, can play a number of positions at a very high level. Reminds me of a young Gerrard. If any player in the English game is worth 25 to 30 Million it is Milner.

Milner is nowhere near as good as a "young" Gerrard. He is a decent player, don't get me wrong and I actually quite like/rate him but he is not worth anywhere near 30m. He is overhyped and overrated enormously in my opinion after 1 good season.... kinda reminds of a certain player playing for City...

I don't doubt that he would be a good addition but he isn't worth 30m.
And if I had to make a choice between paying 30m for him or getting Joe Cole on a free, I would take Joe Cole any day of the week.
