A lot of people assumed we were because of the 'pre-contract agreement has been signed and it shouldn't be hard to guess the player' stuff. I personally took that to mean Boateng but a lot of people have said that he wouldn't/wouldn't need to sign a pre-contract agreement, so who knows....

Personally, I know opinion is divided on this, but I'd be well chuffed with Cole....

It's a 300 plus thread there's further "rumblings" earlier on into the thread that i can't be fcuked to find.

he will either end up with a new contract at chelsea or go to madrid or milan.why would he come here and move up north?
 
Absolutely 100% guess work on my part but I think Cole could actually end up here. Chelsea seem to be very keen on Modric, it's a story that doesn't seem to go away and Cole to Spurs may be a non -starter because of the wages he would demand. I cant see him going abroard so that leaves us and United as his only option. Anyway, just a guess.
 
beats me why we are interested in such a player..just another one to accompany rsc on treatment table...

This sir, was me.

I posted about my mate, plays american footy for southampton redhawks with nicky cole, joes brother. Never met him myself, but my friend tells me regularly how convinced nicky is that joe is coming to us if chelski dont offer him a good enough contract.

Not saying its a cert, and their not my words, but thats the word anyway.
