Joe Corrigan MBE

Thought he spoke really well and came across as a thoroughly decent bloke.
He certainly did that.

He probably did look OK for 76 (thanks for reminding me how much older than me he is), my Dad is nearly 10 years older, but he doesn't look it though.

Great bloke, even though he did go "scouse" for a while haha.

I remember as a kid watching the build up to the 1981 fa cup final. There was a bit showing Big Joe in goal, lashing it down with rain and 2 city coaches throwing footballs to either end of the goal. Joe would throw himself to one side, save one ball then jump up and dive over to the other trying to save that one....continously until he couldn't take any more. I think the film superman had just come out at the pictures and I was convinced it was the same bloke. An absolute legend.

Ha I remember watching that… had my mates do that on Sunday morning warmups as a U11’s keeper after watching that

A great keeper, top professional, and true gentleman.

He's now Tommy Booth's 'minder' as they tour the hospitality boxes.

Tommy enjoys the 'hospitality' !!

Congratulations Joe.
