fucking brilliant by joe hart yesterday, how many of the tosser who jumped on his back would of carried on playing, journalists and fans alike

He was rightly criticised for last seasons form and some terrible performances early this season. He was dropped because his own high standards had slipped alarmingly. Most of the City fans on here who could see this and wanted him dropped, also said they wanted him back to his best. Guess what? they were right. He got dropped and it appears to have done him the world of good. In the space of a couple of games, he's back to making great saves and saving us points instead of costing them.

Exactly, he's now putting in match winning performances instead of match losing performances. Well done Joe, onwards and upwards from here on in!!

Very fine margins for goalkeepers. He's been praised for making very good saves in the last three matches. But if any of those shots had gone in he'd have been pilloried, "Hart blunders again".

I do wish he hadn't been given the MotM award on Saturday. Apart from giving a Pulis something to crow about and allowing the press to put a distorted slant on the match, I don't think it did him any favours. Better for him to keep a low profile for a while.

Think everyone needs to put things in perspective here.
Even with our outrageous financial resources, we could not easily go out next week and buy a keeper as good as him, never mind better!! They are very few and far between. Certainly not anyone in the Prem Lge that you would take over him...look at the keepers Arsenal, Chelsea, Lpool and Salford Untied have and you would not take any one of those over him would you !!!!

Hope he keeps this form up, so as to hammer in the point that the push to get rid of him is completely and utterly ridiculous.

Far too many Football Manager gurus on here and not enough people who actually watch & understand the real game.

"All you have to do to get a clean sheet out of Joe Hart is make his face bleed!"

... Is that funny to you or my humor sense is broken?

(I know it's a humor blog, but...)

Will he playing on Wednesday night? Panti didn't exactly cover himself in glory today so I'm not so sure he'll get the nod against West Ham.

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned, but what was that about - Joe smiling and clapping when Blackburn scored? Thought I must have had too much pop when I saw it on the big screen yesterday, but I've just seen it again on the ITV 'highlights'.
