Joe Hart/England 'Fans'

Not heard a single Utd fan say anything other than him being world class.

Match going 'Rag' here and in full agreement. Top class 'keeper who will only improve in time too. ( never once heard anyone say otherwise )

In discussions recently mentioned that Joe was the best in the world and no one has argued...........even got a couple of agreements !!!

Rag at work after last years SF - ' if it hadn't been for Hart, we would have won....'

Me - ' what's he there for if not to stop goals ? Only doing his job. How many times has van der Saar saved you ? '

Gave him a compass and A - Z.................

Joe Hart is easily level with Neuer, if not better, and the only keepers I would choose over Hart are Casillas and Buffon due to their experience but by the time Hart is their age he will be at least as good as they were.

He generally cured the parrying the ball back into play fault at the start of last season, it was previously dropping to an incoming striker, now he punches it away and to the side when he can't catch it, put it out or doesn't want to concede a corner.

To the OP: show the Liverpool v City 1 - 1 at Anfield last season to whomever is questioning Hart's quality and ask them to reevaluate

Remember when he was on loan to Birmingham, west ham played them away - he was unbeleivable , saved everything - could tell back then he would become one of the worlds best

Over the course of last season, time and time again I had rags telling me that 'Hart is so overrated'. Didn't respond to them but then leading up to and during EURO 2012, I've seen so many England fans commenting on articles and on twitter saying the same things and 'because he's English'.
I'm no goalkeeping expert but what obvious gaffes does Hart make? The likes of which that I've seen from Neuer in the past two seasons (2nd leg for Schalke vs rags, German cup final this year) and most criminally De Gea.
I'm not saying Neuer isn't a fantastic goalkeeper and I'm not saying Hart doesn't make mistakes but he doesn't acrobatically dive about to save the thirty-yarders that keepers see all the way, he gets across normally to save it, and because of this it would seem that people consider him as overrated. Even the other day against Sweden when towards the end of the game he commanded his box fantastically, he was slated??
The most important thing for me is that he's solid, dependable and I've so much confidence in him when it really matters.
So, does anyone else see England 'fans' describing him as 'massively overrated'?

You look on twitter for reasonable opinions on football???

On the streets and in the pubs i've not heard a bad word said against Hart. Even from the bitter plastics.

They're jealous we have him, simple as.

Very true, the wife's Dad is a rag twat, banging on about Rooney being England's best player, I argued that he wasn't, and that Hart was, the only counter argument he could muster was "er, er, er you cant compare a goal keeper with an outfield player" then claimed that the "only reason" he acquired the golden glove was due to our defense. Bitter rag twat.

Hart is without doubt the best keeper in the premier league.

He is one of the best 2 keepers in the Euros with Buffon.

His game seems to have improved a bit as well in that his distribution has improved. His involvement in the England team can only improve him as a player. As he is a level headed lad and continually wants to improve...he will do...and suspect we'll all be talkin of Joe Hart being the best keeper England have ever had and possibly the world!!!...Fantastic asset to the club!!!

I dread the day he makes a mistake whilst playing for Engerland and gets scape goated by the rest of the country. Another reason to dislike the national team as far as I am concerned.
