And so the vultures come out, feasting on the rotten carcass of media fed bullshit and a bad performance
'Look at that mistake, what a twat. We should sell. My paraplegic grandad could do better to his left hand side. Not a patch on De Gea'
It's interesting to me that recently city fans have taken to hurling abuse at our own players when they've had a bad game instead of getting behind them.
Time and time again Joe has pulled it off when it matters and when it doesn't. Time and time again Joe has proven what a good leader he is but instead people see this passion as a weakness because they're desperate to see him fail to prove themselves right.
De gea made a fucking clanger last night and Spain were eliminated but of course because the media don't report it as much the idiots on here absorb it and spit it like acid through their teeth at one of our own.

People really need to get a grip. He is by no stretch of the imagination bad as some of you say he is

I really don't think this one match mattered much to Pep's thinking. Even if Hart had a blinder, will Pep retain a keeper who isn't an accurate passer? I seriously doubt it. Would honestly be amazed if Hart is still starting in May. Then again I questioned whether he would survive Pellegrini and he did, though I think Wily having average performances had a lot to do with it. Plus the 8 Brits rule. If he has real competition from someone like Ter Stegen...

Sentiment only goes so far, as Iker Casillas learned.

Still the same joe hart who has 2 premier league medals.....fuck the haters.....this guy is city through and through and our best goalie since joe corrigan.....along with trautman he's in the top 3 goalies we've ever had.
Anyone supporting utd or anyone else slagging him off needs to take a long hard look at that 2nd half performance.....as much as I hate rooney.....he's never played as shit as that 45mins...neither Kane,Ali or Sturridge.....
Maths and judgement of keepers a little off mate; best City keepers
1. Frank swift
2. Bert trautman
3. Joe Corrigan

Hart is a poor footballer. For instance judging by the poor inaccurate short pass he gave to his defender rightback) last night. Not to cite many other numerous suicide passes to his City teammates before.
City won, in spite of an overrated and overhyped Joe, because we have a top world class team.
We can't afford to carry this Poseur anymore lest our club will be the laughingstock in the PL.

He isn't good enough for City
Lots of poor aspects of his game , distribution, catching, coming off his line
! has been beaten from outside the box on numerous occasions this season etc Makes some incredible saves at times
Yes as a GK he is technically deficient.

If you assess Corrigan based on his entire career at City, then I would put Hart ahead. The second half of Corrigan's career at City beats Hart's, but is that a fair comparison?

It really pisses me off the way that the media is hanging Hart out to dry, maybe he should have done better with the second goal and e will be bitterly disappointed but he also made a number of key saves after that to keep us in the game.

No real mention of how shite the defence was in front of him or how they parted under the slightest pressure, is Joe truly world class ? no not really. however he is the best goal keeper in England and guess what last night was an international.

Lets just think about this for a moment, we were beaten by Iceland, not only beaten but out fought as well. They wanted it more than we did and created more than we did, even after going behind we never really looked as though we were going to come back to win the game.

As for Joe's future at City, well i have lost count of the times that he has bailed us out, we are a stronger side with him in it and i believe this experience will only make him a better keeper.

He didn't learn that from Pep though.

He fucked up and that's that. He'll be getting pelters from all directions whilst the inquest to yet another disastrous England campaign is underway. I get the feeling the knives have been getting sharpened for a while in regards to Hart. He needed to have a good tournament and unfortunately he hasn't.
There's no point looking at other keepers who may/may not have performed as poor or made errors because none of them play for City.
Time to get behind the lad - though I suspect he'll have a real fight on his hands to remain number one for club and country over the next 12 months.

Not sure you're right about the media there. Yes he should have saved it but I've seen huge criticism of the defence and articles that states he made the only two saves of note in the second half.

You do realise he successfully completed 18 of his 19 passes last night don't you?
