Hart deserves better than Everton if he is to leave.

Would he be willing to live on the continent?

Hard to think of another consistent CL club in need of a keeper like him though. Can you? Maybe if/when Buffon retires?

Could very well see him going on loan for the season to Everton since he may not want to stay long term unless they have European football.

Why the fuck would we ask Hart to leave if Ter Stegen comes in? Just get rid of Caballero instead. Joe is a legend and despite an awful summer he's a quality keeper and would be a great second choice. I find it difficult to see Joe throwing in the towel just because he's named second keeper for a season.

@Clercqs
$$$ reasons, I'd assume we'd sell Joe for a good take, while willy is cheap.
-plus if Joe isn't able/willing to play the way his manager intends, then why keep him as the #2.

If Joe isn't dressed today, and if he doesn't travel to Romania, he's 100% gone.

In Pep We Trust!

You think Hart wants to be second choice?

Got a lot of time for Hart and what he has done for us in the past will never be forgotten but Guardiola is the future and he has to be backed absolutely.

We haven't even seen Joe play under Pep yet, not in a serious match, and yet he's somehow fallen short of the standards required! I could understand this line of argument if we'd played 6-10 games and it had become an issue in matches.

The pre-season game vs Arsenal is not a benchmark because the back 4 were giving the ball away in that game. A keeper is not going to pass it to his back 4 if they are under pressure and are struggling with their own game.

That's the thing tho, Ter Stegen isn't limited to passing it to the back 4.

Maybe Guardiola has been seeing what I have for the last couple of seasons. Too many basic mistakes and indecisiveness around the 6 yard area. Watch the west ham away game for the best example. I love Joe as a character and representative of MCFC but unfortunately he is not the level we need. If he goes, he goes with our thanks for wonderful service to the club and he will always be a club legend for being part of the most successful period in our history. Thanks Joe, true MCFC legend.
