We wanted the club to hire Pep because he's the best in the business and is capable of making the big decisions that separate the good managers from the great ones. He's been here for five minutes and has made his first big call, and some are questioning his judgement already. Quite amusing really....
We haven't even seen Joe play under Pep yet, not in a serious match, and yet he's somehow fallen short of the standards required! I could understand this line of argument if we'd played 6-10 games and it had become an issue in matches.
The pre-season game vs Arsenal is not a benchmark because the back 4 were giving the ball away in that game. A keeper is not going to pass it to his back 4 if they are under pressure and are struggling with their own game.
Brings a hole (sic) new meaning to goalkeeping cock-ups!
That would be the ideal option but i still can't see us getting him. Why would Barca accept anything other than us paying his buyout clause (67m), which i don't think we will pay.Ter Stegen imcoming then, surely we have new number 1 lined up?
Could just be joe has has had about 10 days training and willy has had a full pre-season,hopefully pep will say something afterwards about itTer Stegen imcoming then, surely we have new number 1 lined up?
it really depends if Barca have guaranteed him number 1 spot, if not he probably asks to leave, if yes then he'll stay. That would be the ideal option but i still can't see us getting him. Why would Barca accept anything other than us paying his buyout clause (67m), which i don't think we will pay.
