No mate it isn't my argument. My argument is he's a fucking good goalkeeper who has proven himself in big games especially in Europe and has a record number of golden gloves. I like the fact that parallel to him being very good at his job he is English, I'd like us to have some English players and he has gone on a journey with the club and us fans. Look pal I get you don't like Hart. As I've already said if there was a clear improvement available i would be all for getting that player probably to compete with Joe. But there isn't as far as I can see. So why get rid of one of our best players? I don't expect an answer and like yourself I'll probably maintain my support for joe regardless of any one else's opinion.
I think Joe is a great goalkeeper. Does he have what Pep is looking for to play a controlled, pressing game? No, not right now. Will he be able to raise his game to change Peps mind, quite possibly, if given the chance. Do I think he will...sadly I don't. An incredible servant to the club, has a huge ego like most top players but he isn't top of his profession. I hope he gets there, but he ain't the Bayern lad, who is the benchmark right now.

I wonder if City could have done a bit more to prep Hart for this challenge. If they knew last season Pep was coming why not start training Hart on Pep style goalkeeping. An extra hour after training for a year and it could have given him a fighting chance.

I like Joe, I think he's a great keeper. Certainly better than Willy, but it's obvious that he isn't fancied and his time here is up. He's not stupid and he's had plenty of wake up calls in his time here. Mancini wanted rid, so did Pellegrini, but both times Hart upped his game and kept his place. This time it appears he either hasn't shown enough in pre season, or Pep made his mind up before he got here.

I don't think our goal keeping coach has improved him one bit, quite the opposite apart from one on ones.

Martin Blackburn of the sun reporting that Joe will remain no. 1, But only if he improves on his feet as pep wants, which he should be doing right away and working on. Martin is pretty reliable and I hope it works out

City sources indicate there are no plans to buy a new goalkeeper this month – meaning Hart will get a proper chance.
But Guardiola has left the door open to make more alterations to his squad during the last three weeks of the summer window.

Surely that cuts both ways? If the club knew then the players would have known he was coming, everybody knew we've been chasing him for 4 years at least. Hart would have known how Pep likes his goalies to play.

Both Mancini and Pelligrini wanted rid. Neither had the bollocks to do it because of his status here.

Pep is a different and a big manager for big players. Exactly what we've needed.

I've had rags and scouser on the wind up about it since yesterday but they're getting no change because it's the correct call.

I just hope we can convince Barcelona and Ter Stergan

I think no matter what everyone's personal feelings about Joe, we are going to have to accept this is the first big call Pep's made. Joe's done as first choice at City by the looks of things and having him around being 2nd choice will be bad for everyone. Best case scenario we can find a buyer in the next few weeks - and Pep can also land whoever he wants as his new number 1 - because I don't have a huge amount of faith in Willy to do the job long term.

How many minutes has Hart had to adapt? Kolorov had 90 against Aresnal and 99% of this board bemoaned his performance, attitude and ability to play in Peps system. For me the issue is Hart has yet to be given a real chance to prove he can or even needs to adapt. And of course you know my thoughts on our manager. You still sleeping in your pellegrini pjs?

Actually, your comments suggest you are not happy with the manager because Joe hasn't been given a chance, which is why I asked the question. If you think Pep have formed his opinion based on 45 mins against Arsenal, there is no hope for you.

As for your final comment - grow up
