You agree an unknown at Liverpool is better than Hart and Schmeical is better than Hart? It's frustrating this thread some of us love Hart, love that he's one of the few English players left in our squad who usually starts, love that he's been here for awhile and always speaks well about the club. Others don't like him and that's not gonna change. There's no real debate going on its just a matter of taste I guess.

Your post has just given you away fella plus the unknown at Liverpool comment was plain dishonest of you

Well unless he bleeds blue I'm not having it, come back Joe a legend and a trier

Peps the man and he'll decide.

He may make Joe's distribution better.

He may make Joe stronger when saving down to his left.

He may however sell him.

No-one knows but Pep.

Just for the record I like Joe and I felt he should have played today, but this is Pep's team and player reputations mean nothing to him.

People seem to be forgetting that Pep is the third consecutive City manager who has at least felt the desire to replace Joe Hart. Mancini would've sold him had he stayed. Pellegrini dropped him in consecutive seasons. Now Pep is seemingly on the verge of selling him.

I personally am very grateful to Joe for his service, though I've been irritated by little things here and there over the years. Regardless, he'll leave having left a significantly positive contribution and the club will move on, hopefully with his replacement being what is required.

We all at least try to give the players our full backing, but ultimately we support Manchester City, not individuals.

You've misread my post like I misread yours.
He never said Liverpools new keeper was better.

I wonder if City could have done a bit more to prep Hart for this challenge. If they knew last season Pep was coming why not start training Hart on Pep style goalkeeping. An extra hour after training for a year and it could have given him a fighting chance.

You argument so far is he's English, he's been here a while and speaks highly of the club, just the qualities we need
No mate it isn't my argument. My argument is he's a fucking good goalkeeper who has proven himself in big games especially in Europe and has a record number of golden gloves. I like the fact that parallel to him being very good at his job he is English, I'd like us to have some English players and he has gone on a journey with the club and us fans. Look pal I get you don't like Hart. As I've already said if there was a clear improvement available i would be all for getting that player probably to compete with Joe. But there isn't as far as I can see. So why get rid of one of our best players? I don't expect an answer and like yourself I'll probably maintain my support for joe regardless of any one else's opinion.

The golden gloves point is pretty poor mate, I personally don't care if they are English or not, I don't dislike Hart I'm apathetic towards him as an average keeper, if he steps up and improves we are all happy. At this stage we have to go with the manager. All the Loyalty/legend crap just makes me laugh

The attitude attached to this will comeback to cripple the team and it was just like Pellegrini's first game in charge he made the same call and was booed and chastised by the media for benching hart and his game plan changed and he had to settle in for a plan he never anticipate before. I know this will happen soon and is going to send the team to a place where they might not be able to recover again. Hope Pep gets the needed support from his own club(fans) and maybe he will build up on that to make city a renowned club across the globe.

Hart being dropped won't cripple the team because we have a manager who the majority believe in.
