Joe can adapt or not that is one thing. Joe doesn't want this is another thing.
Also Joe had a week or two before the Arsenal game to learn what was going to be required of him, Willy was there day one with a reduced squad(an extra two weeks with more one to one) I doubted at the time: a) That Pep will have judged Hart on his 45mins of game time the same way he judged Willy, even though Joe could have done better not too much should be made of it. b)The decision to go with Willy on the opening day of the season was about Joe's ability to do it.

As I've posted several times Pep confirmed the above wasn't the case last weekend in a press conference. The idea that Pep thought Joe was incapable or unwilling to learn what is required is speculation, unless a whole lot has changed since Saturday.

It looks like he is going though that's all we can say.

Perhaps although you could argue that it's harsh how we isn't really being given an opportunity to prove himself. That points add weight when there are 3 or 4 other players who are quite clearly not good enough to play in a Pep system, yet are being given opportunities to prove themselves.
How do you know he isn't being given a chance to prove himself ? He is training with first team squad so if he is performing well in all aspects no reason he will not be picked . Joe knew months ago Pep was coming and what he would expect so what has he done to make sure he was ready to excel at all the thinks Pep expects from a keeper .

Sevilla odds slashed... Interesting few weeks for Hart

A lot of price movement on the the Joe Hart next club market

Sevilla are now 1/2 Favs to land the City keeper https://t.co/9J26MP2xBf
Would like to see him go to Sevilla on a loan. They have two talented young keepers and one already has a cap for Spain but they are not as experienced as Hart. They are 22 and 23 years old and now one is out injured for 2 months. I think Hart would get the nod ahead as number 1. Sampaoli also prefers a possession style playing out from the back. Hart will have to learn and adapt and we can see how he progresses. At the same time he gets to play in CL and La Liga, his england spot wouldn't be under threat and we won't be losing him to a PL rival.

Pep sees Joe in training day in and day out. He has made an informed decision based on Joe's ability to do what he asks and willingness to do it, we can only speculate.

Joe has been an excellent player and I wish him well. Pep has been very complimentary but he has the absolute right to play whoever he thinks can do the job he wants doing.

This is an odd one for me, nobody can deny Joe is a top keeper he has proved it many times over. Has he had the odd gaffe? Of course but name me a keeper who hasn't. Can he add the so called 'Sweeper keeper' skills to his game? Who knows but why not give him a chance? Replacing him with a second string much older keeper that could cost 18 million seems bizarre. I guess Pepe is the boss and he will live or die by big decisions like this.

I wonder how many on here defending Hart were the same ones who last season said MP must go and Pep is the best manager in the world? Well this is what great Managers do they make the tough decisions and I find it slightly ironic if not a little sad the way Hart is being bigged up on here. I for one support Manchester City not Joe Hart so I have no problem with him being shown the door. He is an alright keeper who has several major flaws in his game it"s not like he is Frank Swift reincarnated FFS!

I know it's probably been done over already but this is my theory. Guardiola sets his squad up to be completely pulling in the right direction, they need to be every bit as a great person as they are a great footballer. Now for me Joe as much as I love the bloke (can tell by my username) he's a huge personality and Pep I think doesn't want him around being an influence on others... There has been reports of a dressing room click over the past few years stemming from the year Mancini got the bullet and the ring leaders where apparently. Hart, Nasri, Yaya... And Kompany. Those first 3 are all going to bite the bullet and to be honest fellas I expect Kompany to be the next out of the door in the summer of 2017. There was an article somewhere that I read that guardiolas best attribute wasn't signing the best players it was pulling out the bad eggs and shifting them on away from the rest of the squad. It's evident Joes time here is up, which yes does make me sad but there is zero room for sentiment in football and do you think the club chased the best manager the world has ever seen for them to say hang on pal you ain't selling Joe, he's making the decisions and we have to trust him.

Oh yeah and those turning their noses up at Claudio Bravo in his prime coming to replace him have no idea about goalkeeping. He's the best available option by a mile he's great.

Sevilla is a good option. The Guardian said Joe is considering it, but isnt sure if it is a long term solution. Let's see

Come on now, Claudio Bravo second string? What a joke.
