Spot on, the people saying he looks terrible are no more knowledgeable than those who think he looked a lot better than those saying he can't play that way were making out. It was interesting in the youtube comments in an effort to downplay him a criticism was Hart let himself get closed down too often and at the same time some are saying it's because he didn't let it happen enough and passed too soon why he's doing poorly in that vid(can't win there can he haha). Personally I think the point is if the pass is on make it quick(you don't wait if the pass is on or the opportunity to counter is gone) if it's not show you can perform under pressure and find that out ball, he seemed to be demonstrating both to me not Neuer level stuff but not too bad at all.

Think trying to save face will come into it a lot(finding something to pick at, people are still trying to with Sterling), that's why I'm enjoying Sterling's resurgence and I expected Hart to make a few look very silly given time but he doesn't have that.

I think it was worsely who called him thick, earlier...

I think that's the problem, great keeper, but not enough going on upstairs to be elite, which is what we now need.
I think he truly believes he's being wronged and can't see why.
It's not his lack of ability that has forced pep to look elsewhere, it's his lack of application to new ideas, I think pep was willing to give him a season but because of his attitude and aptitude or lack of it, he's forced pep to bring in bravo

From what i saw from the training vid Hart didnt do much wrong from the limited viewing on offer.

There's a video on the OS training the day after in Bucharest where the team are working on playing the ball out from the back. Hart was involved, seemed to be doing alright and was being watched by Pep. I can see Hart playing Saturday.

Do you think the club would release a video of Joe doing alright.
Pep has made his decision,why should Joe start against Stoke.

Jesus. he's terrible. He's hesitating. He takes 2 or 3 touches before passing, he always chooses the easiest option, not looking for the best one, and he always does it before the opposition press him - which leads to Pep yelling out to the players "goalkeepers remember that when the opposition start to press you, we have an extra man".

Angus Gunn at the other end is doing much better - and he's not renowned for being good with his feet.

Your wasting your time mate , they can't accept its about suitability for formations .

It's true that would be unfair but isn't that what Harts been putting up with from the doubters for some time? Double standards is nothing new in football I suppose. I'll get behind Bravo anyway.

Not the same at all, every time a keeper drops a bollock and they all do it will get mentioned. In this scenario it will be like the pellekeegan Mancini stuff. Joey boy would have saved that, bravo just gave the ball away and cost us a goal, should have kept legend Joe. This misty eyed view of players baffles me. Loyalty,legend, bleeds blue, deserves more respect. It's pretty embarrassing. Our manager has just walked through the door and he is being questioned because he doesn't rate a footballer.

Let him get on with it.
