Not the same at all, every time a keeper drops a bollock and they all do it will get mentioned. In this scenario it will be like the pellekeegan Mancini stuff. Joey boy would have saved that, bravo just gave the ball away and cost us a goal, should have kept legend Joe. This misty eyed view of players baffles me. Loyalty, legend, bleeds blue, deserves more respect. It's pretty embarrassing. Our manager has just walked through the door and he is being questioned because he doesn't rate a footballer.

Let him get on with it.
What are you talking about how is "a world class keeper wouldn't have dropped a bollock there" different than Hart wouldn't have let that in... mate it's EXACTLY the same it's ignorance to deny it and as I said both are unfair and I'll be fully behind Bravo. I'm going against Pep by not pretending Hart isn't a top keeper he is, the decision has been made for more than one reason(some none footballing and equally important going forward perhaps) and in the end might prove to be the right one but it doesn't change some have been over egging it with the Harts just not good enough for the top level mantra.

Embarrassing having a connection with certain players in no more embarrassing than having a dripping hardon over Pep. He's not omnipotent pal, we don't all have to bow and scrape to the bloke, some are questioning the decision, it's a football form with various views of the same situation, it's natural.

The difference is simple if hart drops a bollock people have a moan, I don't remember people comparing every hart mistake to shay givens ability, the hard of thinking will actively try and find faults with the new guy because strangely they think Joe gives a fuck about city fans. Some fans really do believe the crap that comes out of footballers mouths.

Spot on, the people saying he looks terrible are no more knowledgeable than those who think he looked a lot better than those saying he can't play that way were making out. It was interesting in the youtube comments in an effort to downplay him a criticism was Hart let himself get closed down too often and at the same time some are saying it's because he didn't let it happen enough and passed too soon why he's doing poorly in that vid(can't win there can he haha). Personally I think the point is if the pass is on make it quick(you don't wait if the pass is on or the opportunity to counter is gone) if it's not show you can perform under pressure and find that out ball, he seemed to be demonstrating both to me not Neuer level stuff but not too bad at all.

Think trying to save face will come into it a lot(finding something to pick at, people are still trying to with Sterling), that's why I'm enjoying Sterling's resurgence and I expected Hart to make a few look very silly given time but he doesn't have that.
Yeah it's our fault the best manager in football has dropped him. I really hope Pep doesn't lose face too.

It's not having a hard on you daft sod, he has a reputation of being a great manager, he has been here 5 minutes so to question him is beyond sad at this stage, outside of a certain section of city fans harts reputation as a keeper is not as high as some are stating.

What are you talking about, defending Pep like I'm going against him? You seem to be missing half the story it's not just football reasons, he's dropped him to the bench for tactical reasons he's not validated any "Hart is not a top keeper" mongers assertions by doing that as much as they want to believe it.

Pep has said himself it's not that he doesn't think Joe can do it, Willy had more time to work on what he's going to demand of them(even Willy isn't up to scratch obviously) that's the reason he's gone with Willy so far that and probably the other none footballing reasons too.

Looks like the Bravo deal won't be going through until after the weekend.

Just hope the halfwit contingent in our away support don't try and get a rendition of the "don't sell Joe, riot on your hands" cringe tune going. Could see some handbags in the stands if they do.

Could've done with this being cleared up before the weekend, the tunnel at Stoke is right in front of the away end as well.

Need everyone pulling in the same direction. Last thing we need is any negativity being aimed at Pep, for making a bold but necessary decision in the best interests of the club.

What I don't get in this whole situation is Pep was announced months ago. It's been well documented that he scouted the players and told the hierarchy the systems he wanted to play and put plans in place for certain players. Hart MUST have been told the way Pep wanted his keepers to play and that he had to adapt or else. So in essence he potentially had SIX months to improve his game
and get wise to Pep's methods.
I'm not saying that this isn't the case and that he hasn't been trying but it either smacks of total ignorance on Hart's part or a lack of communication somewhere as he looks shocked and bewildered by what is happening. I do sympathise with Hart somewhat but I trust Pep any day of the week.

He's a top keeper that's a fact, one of the best in the world(4 time golden glove winner, near man of the match performances in the CL trumps any opinion you might have with something of substance), a better shot stopper than Bravo in fact(probably not much in it and Harts Euros took a bit of gloss off to bring it closer on recent form), one of Bravos weaknesses is he's not the tallest so corners could still be a problem along with the tall imposing Andy Carol, Ibrahimovic type strikers and possibly some long range shots... that's coming from the Barca expert they had on BMRTV who's watched plenty of him.
