Joe Hart (joined Torino on season long loan - Official)

The only comments I have about Joe are; I can't think of many other top keepers who've been relegated to number 2 for any reason other than injury. However, in respect of Hart, Hughes didn't fancy him, Mancini dropped him, Pellegrini dropped him and now Guardiola has dropped him. There doesn't seem to be a long queue of suitors looking to sign him so maybe he's not quite as good as we'd like to think? I also don't hold with people cracking on that he's rubbish, as he's been brilliant for us. If his time at City is up, I wish him well wherever he goes (rags and dippers excluded, obviously).

I agree with that.

For me, Joe has been instrumental in taking us to the level we were at. We now have started the journey to the next level which, I believe Joe is not able to help us with and hence we are looking for a more suitable person.

Joe has found his level and now needs a club which can exploit that.

Agreed. But found a bit strange city are playing hard ball, that they will only sell him for 30m and not loan him.

Of course could be a negotiation tactic. Personally had assumed, he would get the cech treatment and be allowed to leave to where he thought was best.

Selling restricts it to only Everton, which I believe a level below. He is a CL Level Keeper.

If he is CL standard, then to me, that doesn't seem an unrealistic asking price. What would you price him at?

I have always thought Hart was just
ordinary , just like most England footballers.

Also I don't like the fact that he has rag players as pals

My point was not for the price mate... We should squeeze Everton for every £.

All the CL teams on the PL, already have stacked teams with established no. 1. If he wants CL, he would have to move abroad to teams like Sevilla, who can only afford loan deals.

His value will surely have taken a hit due to his performances in the Euros. But, more importantly, Pep has made it clear he doesn't rate him that highly. Its difficult to demand top dollar for players that have been deemed surplus to requirements.

Where he can sit in the bench with his best mate! Liverpool just spent on a new keeper...a young one at that!

While Joe was playing like a worldie, his "eccentricities" (mouth and wanderlust) were considered acceptable. The minute the bloom was off the rose, those things become major flaws...and that's before you start to dissect his game.

Regardless, I find it impossible to believe that Bravo is a better keeper than Hart...eccentricities or not!
Agreed.

Hypothetically, would you replace Kun with Messi or Suarez (on ability to improve us)?

My point is that yes the CL teams have good keepers, if a better model was avail, would you not go for it. particularly if you were cash rich?
