Remember Platt denying that they were looking for another keeper FWIW.

I posted his tweet on the previous page.

It just goes to show the power of the media, we all like to think they don't get inside our heads but this is a perfect example of where they did with many, the mis-quotes are taken as fact and the denial isn't even acknowledged.

So what happens in 3 years if Pep leaves and our new manager is not bothered if a keeper is good with his feet ? Bravo will be 36 then.

Probably the same thing that is happening now, the new manager will see if Bravo fits into his plans and if not, look for someone else - perhaps even a 33 year old Hart

I very much doubt we'll undo all the work Pep will have put in the second he leaves.

His value will surely have taken a hit due to his performances in the Euros. But, more importantly, Pep has made it clear he doesn't rate him that highly. Its difficult to demand top dollar for players that have been deemed surplus to requirements.
Pep hasn't said that he doesn't rate him as a keeper. He said that he struggles in an aspect which is important to him as City coach.

This was reported in the Guardian football about Hart and it's the most specific explanation I have seen.

Guardiola and his coaching staff lost faith in Hart after a drill in which he was asked to switch the ball from one foot to the other and then hit a long pass. His passing was reasonable, but he struggled with the technique of moving the ball on to his stronger foot.

Great point because that's part of the reason he's at City, it's more than just what he will do in 3 seasons but the culture change he will set in motion, presumably for your club and fans. A style of playing that will contine to evolve

Holistic.. We like that word at City.
