From Pep's Presser:

"I want to play the way I like and the way I grew up," Guardiola says. "Until 31 August everything is open. If Joe stays here he will fight with the other keepers and will convince me to play. That is the way it is.

"I said in the first moment, if he stays he will improve. He understands what we want from our goalkeeper. If Joe stays here I want to help him. It doesn't mean he won't play. I have a lot of respect. It wasn't an easy decision. I don't have time to create something. People want results now. I know his quality."

"Of course. I want happiness for the players. I don't want players to stay here if they don't want.

"All the players here have a contract. If they decide they want to stay they are going to stay. I spoke with them all. They all know exactly what the situation is.

"If they want to stay, stay and we will fight together. I want to stay with the players who want to stay. That is no doubt."

Pretty simple from Pep. Joe can stay, learn to play and fight for his place (whilst still getting some game time) or he can leave.

When I first read that Pep doesn't rate Joe and would/will most probably sell him I was gutted. Our longest serving player and current England number 1. Didn't seem right or fair to me. I've always liked Hart, wish he would be giving a chance to prove himself to Pep. Seems like that chance has gone now.

Does anyone think Joe will stay? I do
Have a bet if you think that mate, Skybet are offering 6/1 that he wont be here after the end of the transfer window.

I like Hart and ideally would like him to stay and fight for his place, (he is much better than Willy), but I just cant see it happening now.

I'll say this, if he genuinely did humble himself and opt to stay on this season and learn and fight, my respect for him would go up tenfold. I just dont see that happening though.

Indeed. I don't see what the problem is. It should always be that way, even for Aguero or KdB - you earn your place in the team, and sometimes, you're just not the right guy for a particular match due to tactics, and if you work hard, and play very well, but don't play with a team ethic, then you still shouldn't make the team.

If I was a Stoke supporter I wonder which goalie I would prefer my team to be up against tomorrow. Joe or Willy?

I think I know

What's he said? Can't be arsed looking.
It's in the evening news. "We're wrong on joe" didn't bother reading it because after him replacing him with given and shipping him off to Birmingham he can hardly say a friggin thing !
