It's gonna be like frigging Groundhog Day on here until we know one way or another. This business about the jury being out on Pep leaves me speechless.. We have actively trod water (or gone backwards/stale)waiting for him. He comes in and makes big decisions backed by the money and power brokers at the club. The jury isn't out, it's made its decision crystal clear. If you meant the fans , well sorry but the truth is we really aren't that important anymore. The team , the club will be a huge success whatever that takes under Pep and fans that don't like his way will be replaced by monetised plastics as the pots roll in. Sorry but that is just how I see it.

Jury is out because he's done fuck all for us, yet, and we sacked Mancini to wait for him. He's not yet delivered. Hope to be proved wrong.
Oh. You're just fucking trolling.

Carry on.

And we sacked Mancini for Hart et al, we sacked Pell for Pep.

Most blues have built up a strong affinity towards Joe over 10 years. I'm not going to be too happy if/when he goes. If I'm honest though I think Joe has stagnated over the last two seasons or so. He still has flaws in his game that should of well been ironed out by now. He is one of the best shot stoppers in the game and his reflex saves are top class.

However, I still think he flaps too much, often trying to punch the ball clear instead of trying to catch it. Even though he's vocal to his defence he doesn't convince he's commanding his area. Shouts of "away away" are heard too often I think. I've also noticed that he tends to guard his right post too much, and he's conceded too many goals when the striker feigns a shot to casually square the ball to an oncoming team mate leaving Joe scrambling back to paw a ball that had already crossed the line.

I was hoping Joe was up to being genuinely regarded as world class by now but sadly he's not if we're being honest.

If Pep thinks it's right to sell Joe for goalkeeping reasons, then we all have to accept it and trust Pep's judgement. I wish Joe well for the future, he's served MCFC well.

I imagine he will speak to big sam about where he stands with him if he stays here or goes on loan then decide what is best for his career
His career is his club.

Do people remember Giggs for what he did with Wales or United? Same with Best.

He's only had 2 games you loon!!!! Did you expect us to be Champs of Europe after 2 games? Ha ha ha

From Pep's Presser:

"I want to play the way I like and the way I grew up," Guardiola says. "Until 31 August everything is open. If Joe stays here he will fight with the other keepers and will convince me to play. That is the way it is.

"I said in the first moment, if he stays he will improve. He understands what we want from our goalkeeper. If Joe stays here I want to help him. It doesn't mean he won't play. I have a lot of respect. It wasn't an easy decision. I don't have time to create something. People want results now. I know his quality."

"Of course. I want happiness for the players. I don't want players to stay here if they don't want.

"All the players here have a contract. If they decide they want to stay they are going to stay. I spoke with them all. They all know exactly what the situation is.

"If they want to stay, stay and we will fight together. I want to stay with the players who want to stay. That is no doubt."

Pretty simple from Pep. Joe can stay, learn to play and fight for his place (whilst still getting some game time) or he can leave.

This is the end of it all for me, Pep's made it pretty clear where the land lies. Stay and fight for your place, or you can request to go. Not being forced out, no issue of his face not fitting.

For me, I want Joe to stay and fight, but if he's not willing to knuckle down and would rather walk into another, lesser, team, it says all we need to know. Unfortunately.

He has been given a chance to prove himself ... by staying and fighting for his place,as per Peps interview only one hour ago.Its now up to Hart to see if he`s got the balls and stay and prove his worth under Peps regime.

I fully agree with this. It's up to Joe to adapt. If he doesn't want to adapt then he'll be off

Seems like that. I doubt he stays - because he will definitely lose his place in the England team as he will be on the bench. Bravo will be no. 1 and unless he has a mare with us (hope not) AND Joe improves drastically on his feet, he is not getting back in our 1st any time soon.

Sam won't have that much patience I think.
