I'm sure Joe would be more than happy to leave a club which have just appointed arguably the worlds best coach, playing champions league football and will be challenging for the title for a club which will be lucky to break in the top ten next year....

Hart's primary job is to makes saves. He's one of the best at that aspect. He still needs to work on elements of his game and there has been no improvement on certain areas over the last couple of years. He had no business coming that wide for the ball against Turkey and he was then out of position and it was easy for Turkey to score. He's done it a few times where he comes out for balls that he just needs to leave and allow the defender to do his job and remain in position to make a save.

His distribution is quite appalling. He'll need to work on that big time or Pep will get rid of him. Positively he can generally play a pass to feet quite well and that's what his job will largely be under Pep. It's the long passing where he struggles, he kicks one straight off the pitch at least once a game and his general distribution is his weak point. I'm sure Pep will coach improvement into him though and he has the attitude to develop that side of his game.

Yep I agree with that.

If Joe does not become better with his distribution of the ball with his feet he will be out of any Pep team.

Please tell me how he can do better, when no fecker moves into space to receive a pass?
Also the defence does not outnumber the opposition to allow the keeper to pass. Unlike Barca or Bayern a DM does not drop deep and the centre halves split to go either side to give the keeper options.Neither do players make triangles round the person with the ball to give then passing options,
When this is fixed and by some fluke Hart doesn't improve dramatically then complain about it,
but to complain that it's ALL Hart's fault when it clearly isn't is disingenuous at best.

Thoughts on this?

Taking off the blue tinted specs, and putting sentiment aside. I think that'd be brilliant deal, personally.

Joe has inherent flaws to his game which don't make him suited to playing in Guardiola side, Ter Stegen is the perfect fit and is a very good goalkeeper in his own right, much younger too. We'd also come away with a £20m profit that we could put towards strengthening other areas of the squad.

I know the mere idea of this will have some spitting feathers, but I think it'd be the best thing for the club and we'd be a stronger side for it.

£40m would be a great offer but Joe's English, homegrown, got plenty of years left and of good enough quality to play for a top team. Add to that he's been good for us. It would seem wasted to replace him due to the requirements he meets.

On the flip side however I really don't see how he's going to meet Guardiola's demands. He doesn't have the technical ability that Pep needs his goalkeepers to have, tricky situation.

This 100!
Pep likes a sweeper keeper. Joe most certainly is not that.
I think his days are numbered under Pep's rule as i very much doubt he can be coached to become something he is not natural at..
