He's generally seen as someone who staunchly defended the club. We sometime forget his setbacks... loaned to Birmingham, dropped by MP. He's always come across as professional in the way he dealt with that. I'm not saying he's perfect, but he's a player that will always get a round of applause when he comes back to the Etihad... albeit with another team.

Sorry Karen but that's rubbish, if an outfield player was struggling with an aspect of his game, Sterling for example and goal scoring, we'd expect them to practice and improve, Harts no different, I'm amazed he hasn't been trying to improve this part of his game for the past 3/4 years never mind now.

And if he has been practising it ain't bloody worked which is even more damning.

We have known for years that Joe is dodgy on left hand saves, the fact that 2 left hand saves in the Euros crept in says to me that he hasn't bothered to rectify it -or even worse he cant rectify it..

Everyone has jumped on his faults and they all have them,forgetting that he is a fucking good keeper who has saved us so many times and really contibuted to our success,i refuse to send him off thinking the worst of him,it's not needed
 
Watching the training video and knowing what he has done for us in the past i can't help but feel sorry for him. But at the end of the day he doesn't fit our new system and needs to move on. Will always get a great reception when he comes back to the etihad and hope he finds a good club who can enjoy him like we have. It's a shame, but there can be no sentiment in football if you want to be the best

I never said anything about thinking the worse of him, however the facts are he hasn't improved or even tried to rectify his issues, that's his own fault and no one else's.

Like the other players I mentioned they've all had a part to play and now it's the next step and unfortunately that's going to be without Hart.

I've not even mentioned any off the field factors in why he has to go.

This is what is really getting to you..don't let your heart rule your head when football players are concerned ( no pun intended) No man is an island and 1 player isn't Manchester City
