Thanks,i don't think he has been treated poorly but all i've said is that i feel sorry for him being forced out as he loves it at city,i see a guy being forced out of the club aftet 10yrs although he doesn't want to be.I am the sort of person who see's people not what they earn or have,it's the nurse in me i guess.Having seen how we played last week i can totally understand why bravo fits us better and needs to be no 1,but i am also sad for joe and i've hated a lot of the get rid type posts, there is no need to say anything but thanks and good luck

Not saying this is you, but I think fans feel more attached to players than players do to clubs. If Joe does move on and I'm sure there isn't anyone who doesn't wish him well. I suspect though that as soon as he steps out for training with his new club, he will be right as rain and any pain forgotten.

No point in playing him tomorrow..He aint putting on our shirt ever again..Its not a testimonial game.Could bid farewell via an open letter to the club & fans.Would rather play Gunn, a part of our future,or stick with Caballero, who'll spend the large part of the season benched henceforth.

There is another way of looking at it though. I have no way on knowing what Joe feels about this but a not unnatural reaction might be, that he has given the best years of his career to the club, he has had a clear dip in form but isn't getting the opportunity to do anything about it. I'm not saying Pep shouldn't be doing exactly what he is doing because thats in the clubs best interests but I can understand why Joe might be feeling pretty bruised.

Respect your view, but pep is the best in the business and I would find it difficult to believe that he wouldn't have given him opportunity to prove himself based on a dip in form. This kind of suggests, as has been mooted several times, that there is more to this than meets the eye.

There is an argument to say Joe has brought all this on himself, but until his memoirs are released, I guess we will never really get to the bottom of it

IMO Joe has been treated perfectly reasonably. He is out of form and has therefore been dropped and replaced by our current standby keeper. Too many see this as an injustice and I struggle to comprehend why.

As for feeling sorry for the man. Not me, I've worked and paid taxes for over 45 years but have still not accrued what he has earned in one season. He is set for life.
We have to remember that up until pep came we all classed Joe as no 1, many cant grasp that a so called standby keeper is put in his place...to them I ask...

who the fuck else are we supposed to play??
