There seem to be one or two seriously sad buggers who use Peps decision about Hart to validate their own opinions to slag off every aspect of Harts character and ability.
Guardiola got rid of Toure Ibrahimovic and many others whilst they were still fine players and I suspect it had little to do with their character as a manager you often have to manage awkward buggers.

I am a Hart fan but if the manager doesn't think he is suitable to the way he plays he may be replaced I will be sorry but believe in our manager. His going will not in anyway diminish his contribution to City down the years including some fabulous times in the Champs league and superb performances when we won the title by narrow margins.

Joe looks happy

I agree,it can't drag on much longer, but it should have been sorted weeks ago,if Pep realised he was surplus, they not back till later today,so nothing will be sorted today no matter what the media try and say

It appears that Pep had doubts about a number of players, but only made a final decision once he'd seen them in training for a few weeks (or in Nasri's case, once he'd seen him on the weighing scales).

New to the Forum,

Been a fan all my life obviously with my old man being one and although I haven't endured what a lot of people have who are a good few years my senior, at 24 one of my fondest memories growing up being our DIV 2 play-off win against Gillingham with Dickov and Weaver being our Hero's. As I've seen us progress one player I've always admired and held in high regard is Joe Hart. 10 Years of service we have seen him grow into one of the best goalkeepers in the World, and although his distribution and decision making can be sometimes called into question nobody can doubt his presence between the sticks, leadership qualities and shot stopping abilities. Yes he has made mistakes , as every goalkeeper and player has but I feel he has more than atoned for those errors with the many games he has saved our skin with his man of the match performances.

Yes it's a new era, with Pep and his style of play I like many am very excited for the seasons ahead. But I do feel maybe Pep should give Joe more time to bring him back down to earth and instead of dismissing his style of play and moving him on when in his prime. Spend the time coaching him, to buy into his style of play and bring the best out of him. I for one would be very sad to see Joe go..

I hope this is true. If he really goes to Spain to learn how to come back and compete with Bravo then it's brave, mature, confident and implies that he does want to end his career as a City player.

Absolutely.

That would be perfect. It could also be that he's hoping Pep loses every game, gets fired & we get some bog standard trog manager in, who doesn't care about passing though ;)
