It's rubbish to suggest as there is apparently no great demand for Joe (according to the papers and when are they wrong?) that's proves he isn't that good. If you have a 53 inch TV and an equivalent TV comes on the market for 55 inches for 2 grand that is quite a cost for limited difference. However if you have a 32 inch TV that might be different. Only a few clubs can spend almost unlimited money and if they can improve somewhere else "proportionately more" for the same money they will do

Nail on head. ^^^

Casillas would be a good recent example. He survived a little longer than he should because of his club legend status.

Iker was with Real Madrid from 1990 to 2015 - born & brought up through the ranks. 25 years. A proper legend.

Is the 55" 4K HD?

Open training today. It appeared on what Sky was showing that Pep and Joe had what looked like a difference of opinion (can't be sure just the impression I got). This was followed by Joe appearing to leave the training session. Can anyone throw more light on this thanks. Wondering if Joe had engineered this for the press!

This is why it is just best for him to leave asap to stop the media circus

It just feels so obvious to me that this not an issue or concern about his ability. Everyone knows he is a top, top keeper, and it's stupid to pretend otherwise. We can also be fairly confident that whatever Hart's flaws, a top coach like Pep could iron them out. So, why doesn't it?

My bet would be because the club want him out for non-footballing reasons - I don't mean the super-injunction type, but just perhaps his general attitude around the club (a la Mancini). I think that Txiki has pretty much said outright that he wants the matter (i.e. Hart leaving) resolved quickly. Why else would the club be so keen to get rid of a player of Hart's stature and ability if it wasn't for non-footballing reasons?

People have already alluded to Hart's unfavourable reputation among staff and journalists in this thread. I don't think it takes much reading between the lines to see that is the real issue here.
