Kudos to Joe for not being sarky, sulky or using the opportunity to score brownie points. He acknowledged that Pep has been fair with him and both men have played it with a completely straight bat.
Credit to Pep for allowing Joe to play tonight. I am sure that Maureen would have handled this situation totally differently and fucked the player off.
