Joe Hart or Willy Caballero

He was appaling last night, he really was.

Joe wont be worried.

He realy was poor last night and a weak link in our defence. I was sorry to see Pants leave, particularly as he is now warming the bench at the SOL. But Willy has failed to impress at all, other than his distribution. But if the majority of the time his distribution starts with us kicking off again, not much use. Hope we are scouting already for a replacement

I would like to see him given a proper run of games before writing him off. However I find it strange that instead of spending the £6 million + wages on Willy we didn't just put that towards Victor Valdes.

Valdes broke his knees (or something) just by the end of the season.
I had thought it would make the power that be not buying replacement for hart and buy backup, cheap, homegrown gk. How wrong I was :(
Nevertheless I think gk is the least of our problem now. We need to glue the defense back together asap.

We should have saved 6 million got Kieran Westwood on a free plus he takes a home grown place as Caballero is nowhere near as good as Joe Hart

Prefer Hart, but the genuine concern is that having been brought in to increase the pressure on him, Caballero's performances are likely to do the exact opposite. Hart may just as easily become complacent, knowing that there is little squad pressure on him.

Very true. After last night the only debate is whether Willy is an upgrade or a downgrade on Pants.
