It is common trend for humans to make judgements based on past achievements.
So when i say Gareth Bale is the best player in the premier league. The natural reaction for most people, psychologically is to say no, no way,surely it cant be this welsh guy, it has to be some fancy spaniard or a foreinger. But accept it , dont run away from it, players develop, get better and eventually realize their potential and if they become absolute world class, they are absolute world class.
Gareth Bale is now the best player in the premier league, i have relegated yaya toure to second so that makes me conclude that gareth bale is the 4th or maybe 3rd best player in the world. Ridiculous right?, but thats the fact.

Forget the past, look at what is in front of you.

Same with Hart, everybody seem to be shying away from the fact that the best english player is a goalkeeper and his name is joe hart. Accept it!!, i know hes not some fancy iberian or latin or german, he is from shrewbery but that does not change the fact that he is hands down, the best goalkeeper in the premier league.
(sighs, i got to my point eventually)

Hate to go all psychological but that is what is underlying when it comes to these sort of issues.

Yaya has been hands down the best player in the premire league for the past 2 seasons.

But bale is young, still developing and at this stage has passed yaya toure and is now better than him. Remember how ronaldo hung in the air against man utd in the champions league,That is super player stuff right? well, i think only bale can hang in the air like that at the moment.

He is very close to ronaldo.

But yaya is still a better passer of the ball and maybe physically sronger but im not 100% about that. Hes certainly bigger than bale, but bale is a beast.
