joe hart

The fans at brum wanted Maik Taylor to replace him a couple of months ago, I think he was refering to that.

That's what I thought it was about too. The first 5 or 6 games he had for them he was pretty below par and the fans there didn't rate him.

I really hope he comes back here, but it's a dilemma because Shay has 5 years left in him and Hart is too good to be sub keeper for all that time..

He knows that in a couple of years we'll be in with the big boys, and he'll want to be with us when were in the CL.
good point perhaps I did read too much into it, like some of us wanted Andy Dibble back when Coton was signed...

holds hand up in shame how wrong I was

He's still ours - and I'm sure we'll hang on to him if he carries on improving - we're in a win win - and so is Joe Hart.

He looks really happy at Brum, today when he made that excellent second save and then the ball went out for a goal kick a few moments after, he walked towards the brum fans to get the ball, and he let out a 'comon, yes' shout to them whilst clenching his fists, then at the end of the game he was jumping about in the air shouting and once again clenching his fists,

i'm happy for him, he's getting more experience and games under his belt, one for the city future our Joe.

It worries me a bit that Givens still got a good 3 or 4 years left in him and Hart surely won't want to wait that long. He is a brilliant, improving keeper after all and hes entitled to want to be our No1.
I just hope to God that he stays at this football club and becomes one of the best English keepers in history...which I'm sure he will with the quality players surrounding him now at City.

If we we're to sell him, I'd expect nothing less than £10Million. Thats how much I rate him.

It worries me too. We have to let him know how how much we think of him, and point blank refuse to sell him until further notice. It's a difficult one, because he might want stability in his life. I'd even consider a two year loan.

Joe, you are ours, just about the only player in the last three years who NEVER got slagged off. Remember us like we remember your!

WHAT...!! who on earth wanted Dibble back...?? worst keeper we've had in my 32yrs, what a tosser he was..!!

If he ever learns how to come out for a cross then I would welcome him back, until then no. He is an absolute mare with his flapping about. Great at shot stopping, crappy at crosses.

It is a fact that when Coton signed he was unpopular fans wanted Dibble back because at that point he hadn't done much wrong.
