Hart knows where we are going to be in the next few years, and he will go out on loan for maybe 1-2 more seasons, then he will really start to push Given for the no. 1 shirt.

Totally, if he doesn't want to go thats all there is to it, but from the sound of things he might want the move.moomba said:DontLookBackInAnger said:I have a friend that used to be close the the old board at Birmingham and he told me that for a fact they have a buy out clause in the Hart deal, but it can only be triggered if Birmingham stay up(which looks likely).
If he doesn't want to go clauses are irrelevant. I think the job we have is to convince him that City is the best place for him long term.
so a taller younger Given then.harrogateblue said:If he ever learns how to come out for a cross then I would welcome him back, until then no. He is an absolute mare with his flapping about. Great at shot stopping, crappy at crosses.
Joe Hart takes swipe at Man City as Birmingham prepare £3.5million permanent deal

Joe Hart has taken a side-swipe at Manchester City - as Birmingham City try to sign him in a full-time £3.5million deal.
England hopeful Hart is glad of the Premier League action with Alex McLeish's club but he is taking the plaudits with a level head after his experience with the other big-money Blues.
Hart said: "I take all of the praise with a pinch of salt. One minute you are a great young keeper and the next you are being moved out to bring in someone more experienced."
The comment relates to Hart's bitter spell under Mark Hughes when he was chopped to make way for Shay Given despite being in England contention at the time.
Hart leapt at the loan chance and will also be happy to sign for Birmingham, with Alex McLeish prepared to take him on permanently.
McLeish has already paid £1million in a 'loan fee' to have Hart for the season, and that sum is due to come off the final transfer figure - with City considering selling the up-and-coming star.
