Joe Hart

He's got Schmeichel -like confidence and stature and that in turn gives confidence to defenders. Key thing for me is how he reacts when he does eventually make a mistake (like all keepers do)
Yes this ^^ , and a possibility of becoming over confident and losing concentration are my only worries. If he steers clear of these, or manages to bounce back quickly from any mistakes, I see him being one of the best in the world. Keeper is always a shaky position as far as confidence and performance goes.

At the start of the season I wanted Shay to be our number 1. Now though, Joe has proven me wrong as he is a much better all round keeper than Given and is probably on par with his shot stopping too.

It's really, really important that someone keeps his head on the ground. He looks to me that he's bordering on cocky and that is so dangerous in a keeper, he's young, he's having the time of his life no doubt, but he needs to be kept grounded.
One bad mistake..a young keepertg, it could be disastrous. It's one thing for an arrogant young forward to think he's better and mess up and miss an open goal because he was trying to show off..people will forget that almost instantly, especially if he scores again later. But a keeper can't make those mistakes, there's know one to cover for him.

There's a slim line seperating confidence from cockyness and the he was borderline tonight when he was pissing about. To be a good keeper you need to be confident, but there needs to be someone to show him where the line is because he's 23, making more money than he's ever dreamed of and is starting for the English team, there needs to be someone to make sure he stays grounded and being over confident as a keeper can end disastrously.

But with Joe i dont think you can tell him too much, hes fucking bonkers! And to be a great keeper you have to be mental!

And i knew he was going to be great when a couple of years ago palacios did the worst dive you will ever see and zaki had the penny at the JJB and as he was preparing himself to take it Joe hart is jumping in the air screaming at the guy! iv never seen anything like it the lad is bonkers and this just sums him up.
