Play Joey for the League Cup and the FA Cup

Shows Joey he's not irreplaceable, but also appeases him so he won't want to leave altogether.

Joe has to be dropped. Pants has not let us down at all in any of the games he has played for City, imagine if you were in his shoes and you see Hart making mistake after mistake but still not getting dropped, you'd be getting pretty pissed off and would think well, there's no way I'll ever get a chance at this club. Plus, if MP and the team do think that longer term, Hart may not be our number 1 and needs a sterner challenge, who's going to come to the club knowing that no matter how shit Hart plays, he doesn't get dropped?
Plus, it's gettin to the stage where these dropped points Hart has cost us in the league with his mistakes are now reflecting badly on the management team and they'll be looking at protecting themselves more than showing "loyalty" to a struggling player.
I'm sure Joe will be back but for now, the GK slot is Panty's to lose for a bit.

I think dropping him for the Norwich game is the right decision. But I would like to see him back for the CSKA game. I think anything longer than the Norwich game will cause him problems. should be enough to instill the focus he needs.

Depends how Pantillimon plays tomorrow. If he has a good game, Hart stays on the bench for me. Pantillimon has a chance to claim the number one spot now and Joe needs to get sharper so he is ready to take his chance again, if and when it arrives.

I'm sorry but I don't care how bad Hart has been playing you can't throw pants with zero champs league experience into such an important game. Hart played well last champs league game so see no reason to risk playing pants because he had a good game against bloody Norwich (if he does).

Exactly. Playing Costel is no more of a risk than playing Joe on current form. May I also add that Costel's last European match was against us and he was superb hence the reason we signed him?
