Very good keeper in his prime was joe, Dortmund at home, Barca away amongst many quality performances by him, legend?? not so sure about that mate? Zabba, vinny, David Silva, kdb, sergio, are my legends, not sure joe can sit at the top table with them? only my opinion mind ;)Legend for me. Not the best keeper clearly but he was a big part of what we achieved in the early days.
if I were him I would be off to the States or China to earn some big ££ before he hangs up his gloves.
Never been the same keeper since those adverts. It's as though he's played with soap suds in his eyes ever since. Sorry, but I can't feel to sorry for a multimillionaire keeper who took his eyes off the ball for his career to plummet like it has. So long Joe, you threw away a top career pal. And I'm disappointed we're not talking about Joe Hart as an undisputed world top 5 keeper right now.Head and shoulders above the rest 2011 -15
He put in some of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen. Spurs (2010), Liverpool (2011), Dortmund (2012), Barcelona (2015)I can't understand the criticism and apparent gloating by some here at the demise of Joe Hart and it makes me a little ashamed to be a Blue. What did he do to us to deserve such treatment?
There was a time he was the top keeper in the UK at least and arguably in the top three in the world. I remember him single handedly keeping us in games, including crucial saves in our 2012 and 2014 title winning campaigns, without which we wouldn't have won the title. His form did start to waver towards the end of his time here and for England and since he left us it hasn't really recovered. Who knows why?
Since he left he has had nothing but praise for us and has never bad mouthed us. He will go down in history as part of the group of players who after thirty five barren years got us winning trophies again and helped tear down that hated banner at the swamp. A little bit of respect wouldn't go amiss.

My favourite performance was at White Hart Lane on the opening day of the 2010/11 season. Joe was just phenomenal that day. His best save, IMHO, was against Swansea I can’t remember the year, but it was sensational.Played a huge part in our early success and made some top saves. He had many stand out performances and a couple stick in my for me. Against Dortmund and Real Madrid in Champions league.
Also remember vividly the save against Everton from. Naismith when he got down (surprisingly to his left) in our title winning season and tipped it past the post.
Hope he hangs around the premier league and does a good job for someone and becomes a regular starter again.
Good luck Joe!
