Short update... the cover for the book (front and back, showing Joe at Maine Rd and with the League Champs trophy) has now been added to Facebook <a class="postlink" href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/James-Ward-Publishing/266700661882#!/pages/James-Ward-Publishing/266700661882" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.facebook.com/pages/James-War ... 6700661882</a>

The book is at the printers and will be ready to despatch at the end of April. As well as the original plan for 288 pages of text &n b/w imagery from every period of Joe's life, there is now also an additional 16 pages of colour.

Copies will be posted out to all the original subscribers (which includes several Bluemooners), before the book is distibuted to the shops.

It'll be touch and go... the date the book's actually due to be finished is the 27th April. Contact me when you're over and I'll see if there's anything I can do but it'll be doubtful.

Cheers. It's been really difficult getting it right, but i love that image of Joe at Maine Road - clearly a man at the peak of his managerial powers. The references to his other clubs were important too.
