Reception for him at the game was mixed from our fans but me and my mates clapped him.

I'll never excuse the grief he caused people at the club, but as a footballer he was top class. He, Dunne and Distin kept us in this league. When he left for Newcastle I thought 'we're going down this year', but then Thaksin came in and, well, the rest is history.
