He is a prick of the highest order and if he was not a footballer he would be in prison with his step brother.

He is a bully and a loud mouth and the day we sold him was one of the best days during that time.

Rant over :o)

sums up my thoughts in a nutshell !

Agree, hes also getting away with a lot of shit on the pitch for some unbeknown reason.

joey barton was a great player for city , and he should be playing for england , he has a lot to say for himself , but it doestn detract from his ability , i have no axe to grind with joey ,he always gave 100% in a blue shirt , but some people have got short memories.

I agree, yep he's a mental f00ker, and he's fairly violent and off the pitch but he's got lots of character and character goes a long way. He gets in the England team ahead of Carrick and cleverly anyday. His set pieces hve come on heaps and QPR are looking dangerous at set pieces this season because of his delivery

Unfortunatley i couldn't make QPR on Saturday, But just wondering for those that were there what his reception was like?

I saw him give a clap to the City section when he went over the take a corner but was it a sarcastic clap or actual appreciation maybe to the minority of city fans who applauded him?

And whats your personal reaction/opinion around joey barton?

Personally i always give him a clap, not arsed about what he said or did after he left city but without him (And Dunney) we possibly would have been relegated the season Pearce was in charge.

He came right up to us and it was definitely a sarcastic clap. He had an angry look in his eyes.

'cause he is an angry man. Without the money that brings a team of hangers on who have to preserve him in order to preserve themselves he would be well short of being a nobody and, given time, he will achieve this.

Didn't mind Barton, I would have clapped him. Gave his all on the pitch and didn't slag us off it.
