He is right about the women commentators to a degree. I watched a game the other day and 3 of the 4 women and it was painful to watch. He Still goes too far though. I was at a game yestrday and debated the women commentary thing and every single person agreed with him and this was just ten mid 40s blokes - all decent fellas. Should be allowed the opinion to say it has gone to far. It’s a very different game the men’s and women’s game.

Think you are wrong here. I enjoy women’s football. My daughters have played for years and I even coached her team for a year. I think it is fantastic the way it has come in the last decade. It’s a very different game to the men’s game thiugh. 3 women commentators in a men’s game is wrong in my opinion. I think in the women’s game there are always women pundits and always have been. I would say 90 percent of men would agree with Barton’s comments / notwithstanding he is a dick.
