Joey Barton

Expect him turn to up as a guest presenter at Talkshite for five minutes before he gets sacked for lamping the tea lady.

You have to admire his great taste in music..... @jimharri

Is this Joey learning how to be even more opinionated and full of his own importance.
If so, he has the "grand master" as a tutor.

So when Joey's glittering career comes to an end, which is very close now, what will he be remembered for? The answer everyone will give sums him up. A bang average midfield player journeyman, good on his day but that applies to most players. He will be remembered more for his spats, his sending off's and being more trouble than he is worth.....oh and thinking he is some sort of working class heroic philosopher.

Think he will just be remembered for twitter rather hm than his career. So many footballers desperately trying to cling on to the spotlight after retiring

Playing for England, the 5-2 v Charlton when the pressure was really on, scoring the winner v Arsenal, or at WHL in 2003, or the 30 yarder 3-2 winner in GS debut. He was in the top 3 in his time at city, and SWP left he was the main man with only Distin close.

I think Richard Dunne might have something to say about that.
