Anyone remember Gazza's short stint in charge of Kettering?
Anyone remember Gazza's short stint in charge of Kettering?
I shouldn't have but that made me laugh!Did it involve a 6 pack and a fishing rod?
A fitting metaphor :)It will ensure them media publicity for a while for sure. It is a bit like one of the neighbour's buying a pet gorilla and it living in the house. Everyone will voice concerns and fears and warn of the possible consequences of doing such. The family will post pictures of them cuddling the gorilla and saying how gentle it now is and even though deep down it is a wild animal they trust it implicitly.
Fast forward a few months to the headlines.....
"Pet gorilla goes berserk and massacres family in own home!"
A fitting metaphor :)
He comes across as an eloquent mass debater, so he should be fine.I've little doubt he will be a 3 piece suit type of manager with a tracksuit nowhere to be seen.
His pre and post match chats will resemble an hour at the oxford debating society as well lol.
I was just about to mention that :)Anyone remember Gazza's short stint in charge of Kettering?
Spot on!The wheel keeps on turning.............
Yet another job for the boys in football and no doubt, like most he will be an abject failure but that won't stop him having a long and successful career in losing games, taking clubs down and making £Millions whilst doing so lol.
Football really is fucked up when you think about it.
When you see an appointment like that, you can understand the complaints from Ince and Campbell about the lack of opportunities for black coaches. What managerial/coaching experience does "thanks" have?
Fleetwood, my old stomping ground. Used to climb over the back wall to get in during the early 70s and then take pens on the pitch at half time. WTF are they employing Barton for?
Has Campbell really tried to get a managerial position at a lower league club? Hard to imagine that every League 1 or 2 outfit would pass up the chance of hiring an ex-England international. If he's holding out for a Prem job or a prime Championship job, then he has less reason to complain.Whilst Campbell may have cause to complain..... Ince has had more chances than a game of Monopoly!
He's been waiting for the England job...... (well if Wales is good for Giggsy's first job....)Has Campbell really tried to get a managerial position at a lower league club?
