What are pundits?

I've 95% erased them from my life. The only time I see them, is when there's been a wonder goal scored, or a bit of controversy which warrants a second look. Oh, and to click on links when they've fools of themselves (hi, Ms Aluko).

Switch on with 5 minutes 'til kick off, for team news.
Half time..... Get a drink, do the cat's litter tray, put rubbish in the bin, see what's on for the rest of the day.
End of game, turn over.

If its a commentator or co-commentator I don't like, find another feed.

It's that simple.

P. S. Nobrat is still an attention seeking whopper..... just like last year.

As for their appeal, you’re absolutely right: They work for a commercial company and trust me, they won’t be hired without some appeal! Perhaps bosses feel they appeal to a demographic they want to target? Just because they don’t appeal broadly to the white man doesn’t mean they don’t have appeal.

That last sentence is utter bollocks. Eni Aluko, like 90% of the pundits is an utter waste of space. On the other hand I don’t mind Alex Scott and Karen Carney. It’s nothing to do with racism or misogyny, it’s about having a meritocracy. Eni would be out on her ear with a much larger number of “white men” on that basis if it makes you feel any better.

Just to be clear, I disagree with both Neville and Barton.

His message is totally wrong.

He isn’t saying Aluko isn’t a good pundit.

He’s saying women shouldn’t be commenting on men’s football.

They’re completely different things.
 
All pundits are only there to fill a gap and talk crap to armchairs, Most people watch the game and then turn off at the end or at halftime they are on their phones or making a drink or toilet break

Fans who stream the games normally watch foreign links anyway, so again who cares what a pundit talking about

Why would they?
He was not employed by City,
the fact that Bennell was a scout for City, coached the feeder teams and helped to organise trial games does not make the club accountable.

I mean, Aluko is tripe as a pundit but so is Redknapp, Jenas, Savage etc but he doesn't pipe up about them.

He'll be on Talksport with his own show in no time. Maybe needs a drink driving charge to secure that spot though.

Be interesting though if that Schofield tweet goes unchallenged.

Deep end is understating it. Would be interesting to know what instigated this.

He won't get any gigs now, in my opinion. You have to be subtle with edginess, he's gone full send and no one will touch him; which delights me, as getting a gig to rile the masses will have been his end game in all this.

I prefer male commentary but would never resort to what is now ostensibly bullying on a social media platform to make my point. Any male getting as hung up as Barton over female involvement in the game is an insecure arsehole. How do you think Aluko feels reading those comments? He's coming across as a misogynist, which is lowest of the low.
