he might of been a **** off the pitch but surely he deserves a good reception has he gave his all and dragged us through some dark times if people remembered the way he played while with us

Defo wont boo him as gave us some great performances though his knobby behaviour off the field is a downside but still think hes a good player

Really? I call players like tevez, johnson etc quality. Not barton the only good attribute to his game is determination, see my previous post about scott parker, if he would have joined an half decent club we would have seen barton for the shit player he really is

I'm probably one of a few who think this...but I honestly think Joey would improve our team.

I've never seen such a talent go to waste.

He's made his mistakes but time has passed and I've no beef with the guy, I wish him well on and off the pitch.
