Joey's Return ?

People are more inclined to listen to other people who've been in their situation yet managed to escape it and turn things round.

I always liked him. In some ways, it's a good thing to have a Player who winds the opposition up. Now we've got Adebayor.

I don't get all this " respect to him, he's turned it around" nonsense.
I'd rather respect people who didn't act like c*nts in the first place

Can't believe some fall for his 6th monthly mea culpas on football focus which are usually 2 weeks before he gets arrested again.

Grade A Nob.

I will probably clap him on the basis that after witnessing Dabo's unbelievable performance away at Preston I felt like twatting him.

I wont boo Joey, forget that he can be a knob off the pitch, he isnt on his own. You can list countless pro footballers who are knobs off the pitch and then are thousands of ordinary knobheads in our country.

Why boo him ? when he played for City he ran his balls off and at times looked like the only one who really gave a shit. When we lost he looked hurt.

Working and training every day with lame passengers like Dabo and watching them just picking up wages. I am glad he twatted Dabo, if we are honest most of us Blues given the chance would of done it for him. Players like Dabo if they returned I would boo but not Joey.

I only care about what players do when they pull on the blue shirt and Joey always did his best in the blue shirt so thats enough for me.

"Whose the Blue boy bossing the midfield, Joey Barton and he'll put you on your arse"

When he played for us he was our hero, we sang the above, we sang the song about him being "Our Colin Bell". He left because he had to not because he wanted to.

People who boo him = Fickle, short memories and no class

he looks like hes getting his act together finally, but leopards rarely change thier spots, i think its best we ignore him, booing will only spur him on to prove something i guess,
It's a bit of a worry to me that you ( and others ) on here think a fired up Barton is something to be feared!! I agree he gave his all for us at the time but he is 1066 ignore him, he loves being in the spotlight for good or bad!

My heroes dont demand a move on the last day of the transfer windo.
My heroes dont hold OUR club to ransom by demanding a "LOYALTY BONUS" when the are sold instea of sacked for yet another case of GROSS MISCONDUCT.
My heroes dont attack a 15 year old in a bar on a pre season club tour.
My heroes dont attack a team mate before a local derby
My heroes dont stub cigars out on a teenager's eye.

I wont boo him, I certainly wont aplaud him, he will just be another player for the opposition.
