John Guidetti: 20 goals and 6 assists in 23 for Feyenoord

Re: John Guidetti: 18 goals and 5 assists in 16 for Feyenoord

The take on the whole thing is that hes going from hero to zero in a sec.

The interview
JG - It was done only out of joy. I had forgotten about the first yellow, and now I miss the PSV game. Its just so sad(more than annoying, but not really sad in that sence), I cant describe in words how I feel.
Im 19 and I have to learn from this, take it as an educationfee, an expensive one at that.
Rep - What did the coach tell you after?
JG - ..paus..you can imagine what he said...but all words were well earned. Yeah, thats it.
Rep - Can you be happy about your goal? That your still scoring freely?
JG - No (shakes head) No, just now Im not happy about anything.

-- Mon Feb 20, 2012 5:00 pm --

What do they say about the red card? my understanding is the interviews were conducted before the game, no?

And yeah, sorry.
The fans-thing was done before the game I guess.

Re: John Guidetti: 18 goals and 5 assists in 16 for Feyenoord

Feels strange having nearly every top European club tapping up one of your young players. City must do everything in their power to keep John here would love him to be a starter in 2-3 years he's got all the attributes capable to do so.

Re: John Guidetti: 18 goals and 5 assists in 16 for Feyenoord

If we sell Tevez in the summer then we shouldn't buy a big name to replace him. I have always thought that having 3 strikers is plenty and when we have Guidetti back we have a 4th striker to play in the Carling and F.A cup.

If however we decide to sell him then we should be demanding around £15million for him, using Oxalade-Chamberlin and Phil Jones as a benchmark.

Re: John Guidetti: 18 goals and 5 assists in 16 for Feyenoord

Actually, not much has changed this season for John in regards of amount of interest from other clubs.
Theres always been loads of reps from all the major leagues watching him.
He is sort of proving himself now I guess and the pricetag might have gone up a bit.
But Hyde has been like a whos who of footballclubs for quite some time.
Mancini wont sell tho.

^ nothing showing mate!!

Guidetti has done well, well deserved call up. Himself, Abu, and Weiss could be important squad players next year.
