At least the hung-ho Otamendi will make tackles and at least look like he wants to stop the opposition. Whereas Stones just runs along side them and waits for them to shoot. I can't honestly remember him ever making a proper tackle. Very very average.

Has played exactly like he did for Everton. Poorly. Giving what we now know about pep his defending isn't likely to improve anytime soon. How he can be so poor in the air for someone of his size is truly baffling.

I think he's actually more suited to midfield. He's not a very good defender but is good with the ball.

But Bailly has been doing way better than Stones.
